Regulation of the current controllers acting on rectifier control electrodes, together with changing of the numbers of rectifier bridges. An optimum numbers of rectifiers is taken into operation for a specified value of delivered power, and current controllers are set to an optimum control setting. The numbers of operating rectifiers and current intensity in each circuit branch is derived from the condition of minimum of the sum of power loss current intensity and voltage in the circuit branches.
