The transmission system uses a detector circuit for a call in a data receiver, where binary coded symbols are being transmitted faithfully. Special symbols will be transmitted automatically when an incorrect symbol is received, and will result in the coded data being retransmitted. The receiver contains a shift register (SR2), which records the received symbols sequentially. There is a processing stage (AS,) where the inputs are connected to the parallel outputs of the shift register. The shift register will cause the processing stage to transmit special signals and address signals under certain conditions. The memory stage will emit a call up signal when the special signals appear consecutively.
