An ornamental electric light fitting which can be easily assembled from separate parts is supported from a central tube (1) with an external screw thread. Two discs (2, 3) clamp four arms (4) which carry the individual light bulbs. The arms have projections (6) which engage slots (5) in the upper disc (3). The discs are clamped together by a nut (7) and a cylindrical fitting with two end rings (8, 9). Two decorative half shells (13, 14) are clamped between the upper disc (3) and the upper end fitting (19), with a decorative sleeve (17) to cover the projecting part of the tube (1). An additional decorative fitting (1) is held on by an ornamental nut.
