The roof and the floor of the building under construction are prefabricated int he form of modular sections. The floor section consists of self-supporting panel (2) covered by flooring. The roof section consists of two self-supporting panels (10a, 10b) with a hinge (12) at each top end. On the inside of each panel is a layer of insulating material (16), and vapour-proof lining. The outer surface of the roofing panels have battens on which the roof (28) is hooked. The floor sections are placed in position and fixed together. The roof sections are lifted on, and the two roof panels opened to the required angle and fixed together.
