The junction box has an insulated housing (1). The insulated housing is made up of two identical parts (23) each having moulded cavities (30) on one face. On the face containing the cavities are male (21, 31) and female (22, 32) flexible assembly connections. The male elements slot into the female elements when the two parts of the box are fitted together. Each part of the box has a location (30) for an electrical conductor grip (4). To permit identification of the box each part is formed from a different coloured plastic material. The conductor grip or terminal has screw terminals (40). The leads (42) of the screws are lodged in slots (5).
