Each hull contains an electric motor (5) which drives the propeller (7) through a shaft (8). The motor is contained in the vessel hull (2) which is fitted with a tight fitting lid (3). The batteries are also carried in the hull. The hulls are connected by stiffeners equally spaced along the hull. The propeller is mounted inside a sleeve (10) which is fitted wire mesh at the front and back for protection. The diver hangs on to the cross bar (11) which also joins the hulls. The control switches are located on the same bar.
