摘要
A search for buried iron objects is performed to detect dangerous objects such as bombs and mines. A building site is cleared by use of a magnetic detector probe which is driven into the ground in a pattern dependent on probe sensitivity. A magnetic probe (12) is suspended (13) in a hollow tube (9) with a pointed working surface (10). This tube is driven into the ground (1) by a hydraulic vibrator (8) which is suspended above the tube by a hook (6) attached to a cable (5) on a mobile crane jib (4). The magnetic field within the volume (15) of probe sensitivity is detected by the probe and is signalled (14) to the device cabin (3) for observation as the probe is driven into the ground.
