Electrolyte liq. (a) for a discrete integrator or timer, where liq. (a) is an aq. soln. contg. 0.2-1.5 equivalents/litre (e/l) of silver phosphate, Ag3PO4, and 9.2-9.3 moles/l. of H3PO4, plus traces of substances (b) which oxidise silver, where the max. amt. of substances (b) is 10-6 e/l. Used in independent integrators or timers, using the reversible system Ag/Ag+, and employed in automatic systems or remote control appts. for determn. of time; current integration; and/or pulse counting. Stable data storage, and long working life of the integrator, are provided.
