A soft toy, partic. a toy animal, whose elastic body is covered with imitation fur has its body moulded in a soft foam, pref. based on polyurethane. Pref. the pores at the surface of the foam are too small, or fully closed; the ends of the threads that form the imitation fur are stuck directly to the body surface with adhesive.
