The air conditioner has a heat pump, with an evaporator over which the moist air is blown, and with both air-cooled and water-cooled condensers. The two condensers are combined in one, and pump circulates the pool water through the water-cooled section. The pump is pref. under both manual and automatic control, the latter regulated by a thermostat measuring either air or water temp. It is also turned on whenever the pressure in the coolant circuit rises too high. The air-cooled section of the combined condenser pref. comes before the water-cooled section.
