The panel consists of facing sheets with the gap in between them filled with heat-insulating mineral fibres. The filler layer has a groove down each side surface. Fixture pieces made of square cross-sectioned metal tubes are inserted in the adjacent grooves of two adjacent side surfaces of adjacent panels. Heat insulating pieces made of mineral fibres are positioned along the side surfaces between the outer sheets. The pieces have a specific weight equal to at least one and a half times that of the mineral fibre filling. The grooves are between a quarter and half the width of the thickness of panels.
