PROCESS FOR DYEING MIXTURES OF CELLULOSE- AND CELLULOSE-2 1/2-ACETATE-FIBERS OR OF CELLULOSE AND CELLULOSE-TRIACETATE FIBERS OR OF CELLULOSE- AND POLYACRYLONITRILE FIBERS
We claim: 1. A process for dyeing a mixture consisting of cellulosic and cellulose-2###-acetate fibres or of cellulosic and cellulose triacetate fibres or of cellulosic and polyacrylonitrile fibres in a single bath with a reactive dyestuff and a disperse dyestuff, such as herein described wherein the said fibrous material is treated at a temperature in the range of from 20 to 50C, in the case of cellulose/polyacrylonitrile fibre blends from 20 to 80C, in a dyebath which contains an alkaline agent in addition to the said dyestuffs, adjusting the pH of the bath to a value in the range of from 3.5 to 6.0 by adding a free acid, and completing the dyeing at a temperature in the range of from 95C to 120C, in the case of cellulose/cellulose-2###-acetate fibre blends from 75 to 80C.
