The fuselage is made from reinforced plastic and fitted with landing gear and fuel tanks (1, 3). The power unit (5) is mounted in the central section with its output shaft vertical. The blade (17) hub fits directly onto the motor shaft and the blades have rods (14) linking their roots (16) to a disc (15) fitting around, and sliding on, the motor shaft. The blades are spring biased (18), giving a rest position under no load conditions. A lever (8) mounted on the engine brackets (7, 9) is cable (10) operated and raises a fixed disc (13) by means of two linking rods (11). This disc pushes up the spring biased disc to alter each blade angle of incidence.
