Plastic drum for immersion baths, esp. for the chemical or electrolytic treatment of small parts, and fitted with an opening closed by a lid and used for loading or unloading. The drum is assembled from numerous small plates or lamellae mounted on a ring of anchor bars to form the periphery of the drum on which the lid is located. The lid pref. forms part of the polygonal drum periphery which curves in wards to accommodate the lid. The anchor bars pref. consist of steel rods coated with platics. The drum will hold =500 kg of small parts.
