The train consists of a multiplicity of passenger cabins (1) which are all of identical construction and of in each case one driver's cab (2) at the two ends of the train. Between the individual passenger cabins (1), running gear sets are provided on which in each case the assigned end of a passenger cabin (1) is supported whilst the other passenger cabin (1) is suspended via a ball-and-socket joint coupling (4) on the passenger cabin (1) supported on the running gear. The running gear sets are arranged in spaces (8) which are formed at the ends (6) of the passenger cabins (1) under elevated seats. Such a train is particularly suitable as a tram or underground railway for local transport in towns. IMAGE
