A morse coded signal generator can periodically generate a message formed by n letters of the morse alphabet. It can control a modulator and a transmitter of a frequency modulated signal and can therefore be used in navigation and radio control. It comprises three rotary switches with 26 positions each and also 26 lines each. The switches can form three letters of a message and these can be converted by decimal-binary converters into 5 bit words. A selector transmits the words into a memory circuit(M). A clock supplies a signal and another signal. The second signal is supplied to a sign detector, a sign generator, a space generator, and a control circuit which detects the end of a letter.
