The polyps share is used in conjunction with an endoscope for the removal of clusters of polyps (within the stomach). A rubber finger stall is fixed to one of the biopsy forceps by a thread of surgical silk drawn through the instrument channel. Once the tip of the instrument is position in the pyloric region the finger stall is brought in view by pulling on the outer thread end and then the finger stall is inflated by blowing air into it, permitting several polyps to be consecutively sucked into the snare using a suction tube, ecraseur or forceps without repeated removal and repositioning of the instrument to collect polyps singly.
