Combustion engine with part take-off of the cooling heat by means of forced air cooling where for automatic after-combustion in the exhaust system, the heated cooling air stream is introduced partly or completely into the exhaust system. Such a combustion engine can be designed as a rotary piston combustion engine where the piston is force air-cooled. Specifically, the air stream is introduced close to the outlet openings of the combustion chamber. An additional air pump for forced cooling may be incorporated.
