The castors (2) are mounted on two or more rigid frames (7b) connected to the bottom (4) of the copier by a number of spring elements (3). A further frame (6b) is preferably fixed to the bottom of the copier and has vertical surfaces extending below the copier. The spring elements are preferably attached between the vertical surfaces of the latter frame (6b). Load variations and preferred directions of vibration can be compensated for by varying the numbers of spring elements fitted between the frames or by inclining the vertical frame surfaces. The spring elements are preferably rubber/metal blocks of strips.
