The catheter has one or more outlet perforations arranged so that the contents of the bladder in the distal urethra are released again into the natural urethra. Pref. a conical stopper is integrated into a self-locking device which can be externally operated by a central body equipped with a knob, spring and counter stop. Retention of the natural flushing of the urethra helps to prevent infection and resultant scar tissue occurring from use of catheter. The catheter has a short flow through section D with a rubber-like stopper head (V) ending in a central body. The central body extends into a casing (C) ending in a wide based guide plate (G) which has a spiral spring (F) connected to it continuously pushing the end knob away from guide plate (G).
