The objective is a radar sytem which blocks echo signals from ground vehicles and provides accurate information relating to the location of relatively fast air targets. The system has a send/receive unit whose sender unit is triggered by an impulse generator which generates sequentially groups of trigger impulses, each with a sequency frequency differing from that of the previous group. The sender accordingly generates radar output impulses whose sequence frequency changes during a target delay period i.e. the period required by the antennae to scan the target. The reflected echo signal received by the antennae is fed through the unit's receiver to a digital clutter-attenuation band-comb filter and control circuit.
