The sucker comprises a cup, which comes into contact with the prod. to be gripped, and a neck. A partition in the cup i smade in one piece wiht the neck from an elastic material, such as rubber or a similar synthetic substance; the partition is located in the plane of intersection of the cup and the neck; it can take the shape of the prod. without deforming or destroying the latter. A channel, for the passage of air, is contiguous with the neck and is formed of a corrugated tube with walls of a variable thickness; it is fixed to the connector of a packing mechanism and to a reduced air press. circuit. The sucker provides a reliable grip on prods. having a surface arranged at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the sucker; the sucker positions itself on such a surface.
