Sealing material comprises a polyurethane material (I) and an anti-slump agent (II) together with sulphoxide(s) (IIIa) of the formula R1SOR2 or amide(s) (IIIb) of the formula R3CONR4R5 or R6-N (CH2)3 C=O (in which R1-6 independently are lower alkyl gps. and R3-6 can also be H). Pref. (IIIa) is Me2SO, Et2SO or n-Bu-SO and (IIIb) is HCONH2, HCONMe2, MeCONH2, MeCONHMe, MeCONMe2, alpha-pyrrolidone, N-methyl or N-ethyl-alpha-pyrrolidone. (I) can be an NCO-terminated urethane prepolymer or a mixt. of this and an OH-terminated polyol, whist (II) pref. is colloidal SiO2 or bentonite. The use of (III) is combination with (II) results in a considerable improvement in the antislump props.
