A number of simple networks for bifurcating high frequency signals from a broadband source such as a television receiver antenna are described. Different amounts of energy are directed down the two legs of the fork, with low coupling between them and with good transmission characteristicS. A band from 30 MHz to 900 MHz is catered for. Basically the system consists of an autotransformer with two windings common at the input point attached to the antenna. The windings have very few turns, typically 3 and 2, and are wound on a ferrite core of a few millimeters dimension.
