Mixer is connected to the interconnected pressure water source and container for the foaming agents and gives a preset mix of water and agent. A horizontal sieve element is opposite the nozzles and covers the generators outlet opening. The housing floor and roof walls extend from the sieve element respectively to rear, and far out over the nozzles; the back wall runs down from the roof. Air can be sucked into the generator, when mixture is fed to the nozzles, via an inlet in the floor wall. Preferably a multi-layer sieve is used. A foam speed near the optimal 198 m/min. can be obtained without motors or forced air fans, with available supply pressures.
