At least the two vertical bars and the top horizontal bar are hollow profiles with two shanks vertical to one another, one serving as fitting surface for pane or filling. These are L-sectioned with a single fold standing out vertically from inside the first shank, and there is an open profile braced with its flanged edge between the inside of the other shank and the upright fold on the inside of the first; there are five sides bordering on the flanged edge, each canted through 90 deg., with an outwardly curved surface adjoining the fifth, with a dovetail groove in the middle to accommodate the heads of connecting screws for both profiles, these screws also connecting the inside of the second shank with the first of the five sides. Glazing or door panelling is firmly held.
