1342800 Electric analogues of fluid systems INSTITUTUL DE CERCETARI ENERGETICE INDUSTRIALE SI PROIECTARI UTILAJE ENERGETICE-ICPET 10 June 1971 19990/71 Heading G4G An electric analogue computer for simulating a fuel injection system comprises a first network A 5 including a pulse generator G simulating a pump, a second network B 5 representing a pressure valve, a third section C 5 including a delay line to represent a fuel pipe and a final section D 5 corresponding to an injector. The second and final sections B 5 and D 5 are non- linear circuits having electrical characteristics corresponding to the mechanical properties of the components they represent. A more complicated and flexible circuit arrangement is illustrated in Fig. 6 (not shown) which permits adjustment during operation to determine the optimum design.
