Coating compsn. based on chlorinate rubber and amphoteric metal powders (e.g. Al, Zn) as pigment also contains as stabilisers, oximes of formula RR'C=NOH where R is (cyclo) aliph. arom., or aliph.-arom. hydrocarbon; R' is H, (cyclo)aliph., arom., or aliph. -arom. hydrocarbon. Butyraldoxime and/or methylethylketoxime is/are suitable. Stabilised compsns have good storability, with no tendency for the rubber to gel.
