The high temp. refractory lining of rotary shaft kilns is made up from a fixed ratio and pattern combination of several types of basic refractory bricks of the types : fused, or bonded by ceramic, chemical, hydraulic, synthetic resin, tar. The bricks are pref. laid without mortar, and the method is primarily intended for combinations of magnesite and dolomite bricks for lime, cement, dolomite, magnesite, refuse burning and metallurgical kilns. The system permits good matching of the linng properties with operational requirements.
