Non-woven ('spunbonded') fabrics made from natural or coloured synthetic filaments of polyester or polypropylene are coated on one or both faces with sputtered polymer particles for making or decorating clothing or covers for teaching, sporting or demonstration activities. The fabrics may be printed, stamped, embossed, cut into pattern pieces and impregnated or coated with adhesives. Better combination of flexibility, tear resistance, strength, weight and cost are achieved than when woven cloth or paper is used.
