1293361 Treating seeds and plants with thiazolidines RUMANIA ACADEMY OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC 24 Oct 1969 [29 Oct 1968] 52312/69 Heading C1B [Also in Division C2] Seeds, parts of plants or whole plants are treated with a composition containing a carrier and a substituted thiazolidine of formula where R 1 is hydrogen or a C 1-6 alkyl, R 2 is carboxyl, a C 1-4 carbalkoxy, a carboxamide, an N-alkyl or N-N-dialkylcarboxamide the alkyl group(s) having 1-4 carbon atoms, or a cyano group and R 3 is a phenoxy naphthoxy, naphthyl or indole group or a salt thereof. The composition may also contain folic acid, a salt of sulphosalicylic acid, a vitamin, calcium phosphate, and a pesticide or pest-repellant compound. The composition may be applied as a solution, suspension, emulsion or as a particulate composition.
