The switching matrix, for a telephone exchange, has no extra contacts per switch point for path hunting and has the number of connections to control path hunting devices and the number of such devices reduced. - The path hunting device and a path hunting potential (-) are applied simultaneously to several hold/hunt lines of different switching stages (AB, BC etc.) Group relays (TA etc.) make connections from gates and from the path hunting potential over resistors (R1, R2).
