[Also in Division H2] A resistance-capacity timing and control circuit comprises two timing circuits 1 and 2 each including a relay A, B and the associated switch A1, B1 and a capacity 8, 9 across which is connected a potentiometer 12,13 having several tapping points connected to a selection switch. A switch C1 of a relay C in a starting circuit 3 selectively connects the timing circuits to a D.C. supply. The starting circuit also includes switches A2, B2 and C2 and the relay C also controls switches C3, C4 in an electric circuit to be controlled. On reception of a starting signal on the line 25 the relay C is energized to close switches C3, C4 for a time interval determined by the timing circuit 1 and the time interval between successive energizations of the relay C is determined by the timing circuit 2.
