[Class 120 (ii).] Cop-winding machines are provided with doffing-means for the cops comprising a bar 15 operable by rack gear 16a, 18, or a bar or pivoted rods operable by lever mechanism and with means for applying the tubes 4 comprising a holder 5 operable in alignment with the spindles by rack gear 9, 10 to apply the tubes and movable transversely of the spindles to permit doffing of the cops in the spaces between the holders 5. Specification 385,867 is referred to.
