Horns, arranging and supporting.-A sound reproducing and amplifying device is constructed with a longitudinally collapsable light horn supported from a sound box and mounted at its small end on the outlet thereof. The amplifier is constructed in the form of flexible bellows 1, made from sheep skin preferably lined with parchment. The large end, the depth of which is preferably equal to the diameter of the soundbox, is secured to a frame 2, which is connected by bars of adjustable length to the sound-box 4 to permit of varying the length of the amplifier so as to vary the amplification and quality of the sound. As shown, two lazy-tong linkages 6 are pivoted to the frame. 2 and sound-box 4 respectively.
