181,834. McIntyre, M. A. March 22, 1921. Teaching music; modulators, etc; instruments with sonorous tubes, percussive .-Apparatus for use in teaching singing &c. comprises a stand in two sections A, B hinged together at the back and having slots or recesses C, E at each side to receive removable blocks D, F bearing representations of the degrees of the scale. A detachable staff J, secured by catches H, carries coloured notes I, each having a slot on the back for ready attachment to a line of the staff. The notes may have detachable tails W. A triangle O and striker P, with which to practice time, are provided. A separate frame K with a back strut carries tubular bells M, suspended by cords in apertures N, which are struck by a striker Q normally carried in pockets on the frame. According to the Provisional Specification, the tubular bells or equivalent wires are arranged on the main stand.
