Tobacco pipes. - To facilitate cleaning, the stem is divided horizontally, the lower part b is formed integral with the bowl a, the upper part d may be jointed to the lower part by plane, curved, or tongue-and-groove joints, and the parts are pressed together by rings m, n. The end of the part d is bevelled where it fits into the bowl. A separate mouthpiece may be used. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 442/99, 20259/05, and 26639/07.
