Cutting-out and measuring for.-For obtaining a correctly - fitting bodice, each half of the try-on lining has an opening from A to B through which projects an extension C on the part D. The degree of adjustment for the bust is noted, and the extension is then sewn down. The lining is described as composed of several sheets, including a front stiffening - strip enclosed by the contour lines 10 ; but it may also be made in two or even in one piece. In the latter case, one edge of the slit is continued to form an extension overlapping the other edge.
