8137. Boehringer & Soehne, C. F. March 4, [Convention date]. Arsenobenzene and arsonic acid derivatives.- Hexaminoarsenobenzene is produced by reducing 4-amino-3:5-dinitroarsonic acid in stages. For example, it may be first reduced to 3:4: 5-triaminoarsonic acid and then to hexaminoarsenobenzene; or it may be first converted into the diaminotetranitroarsenobenzene, which compound ou further reduction gives the hexamino derivative. The reduction may be effected in more than two stages if desired, the nitro groups being successively reduced. Specification 7488 /13 is referred to.
