The tapes s connecting the upper blind a are looped round the ends of the roller d on the lower blind, and wound on the spring roller f. In winding up, the rod c and roller d are together until the rod d comes against the stops g. As the winding is continued, the lower blind winds on the roller d, which is rotated by the loop of the tapes s and the required aperture is obtained. In running down the rod d comes against the stops h, and as the spring roller continues to rotate, the blind b unwinds from the roller a, and the aperture is closed.
