PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic combination with antibacterial agents linezolid, bedaquiline and pretomanid, and optionally pyrazinamide in a short-term oral administration regimen for the treatment of tuberculosis. A method for the treatment of tuberculosis is also provided, which is pharmaceuticallyd to patients in need, linezolid, bedaquiline and pretomanid, and optionally pyrazinamide, or each of these. Includes each therapeutically effective amount of acceptable salt, as well as the step of administering a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. In one embodiment of the invention, linezolid is removed from the treatment regimen after 1-2 months. In another embodiment, linezolid can be re-administered after a 1-2 week washout.
