A warning method is implemented in a vehicle comprising a driver's seat associated with a steering wheel and at least one sensor acquiring information representative of at least one cardiac parameter when it contacts a driver seated in the driver's seat. This method comprises a step (10-40) in which the acquired information is compared with reference information of the driver, and in the event of detection of a variation between this acquired information and this reference information, representative of a problem encountered. by the driver and chosen from at least two predefined problems associated respectively with sets of at least one predefined action to be triggered, each action of the set which is associated with this problem encountered by the driver is triggered in the vehicle.
