The subject of the invention is an odontological instrument, comprising two components intended to be assembled, one female having a cavity delimited by an internal wall and the other male able to penetrate said cavity, characterized in that said male component has a securing portion having at least one projecting radial edge, said securing portion being deformable in a radial direction from an introductory configuration to a securing configuration in which said projecting radial edge is brought against said internal wall so as to notch the latter, and in that said internal wall has an attachment area capable of causing a deformation of said attachment portion to bring the latter into the attachment configuration, the attachment area of the cavity being made of a material of hardness less than or equal to that of the material in which said securing portion is made.
