Extensible certificate management system architecture. An exemplary system may include one or more application platforms (eg, VMs) communicatively coupled to one or more computer engines that execute registration rights and perform cryptographic operations required by the registration rights. The system may also include one or more application program platforms communicatively coupled to one or more computer engines that execute listing authentication rights and perform cryptographic operations required by listing authentication rights. It may further include one or more application program platforms communicatively connected to one or more computer engines that execute the pseudonym authentication authority and perform cryptographic operations required by the pseudonym authentication authority. It may also include one or more application program platforms communicatively connected to one or more computer engines that execute first and second connection rights and perform cryptographic operations required by the connection rights.
