The invention concerns a monitoring device for a sliding circuit manufacturer to monitor the compaction of concrete inserted into a sliding circuit of the sliding circuit manufacturer with at least one concrete sealing device which has an Asynchronomotor for the propulsion of vibrations. In addition, the invention concerns a procedure for monitoring the compaction of concrete. The inventive monitoring device and the inventive procedure are thus distinguished by:on the basis of an analysis of the stator current (IStator) a change in the compaction of concrete is concluded. The inventive monitoring device 8 has a device 13 for monitoring the stator current of the Asychrometer engine, which is configured in such a way that, on the basis of an analysis of the stator current (IStator), a change in the compaction of the concrete is concluded. The device 13 for monitoring the stator current of the Asychro engine is preferably configured in such a way that the amplitude spectrum of the stator current is determined for the analysis of the stator current. The advantage is,that the concrete is not monitored by sensors exposed to harsh ambient conditions during the operation of the sliding switchboard manufacturer.
