摘要

This head-up display is provided with a display panel, a parallax barrier, an optical system including a reflector and an optical member, and a controller. The optical system projects virtual images (Ipl, Ipr) of an image displayed by a display panel onto a virtual image plane (Sv) located within the range of 3.5-7.5 m inclusive from eyes (31l, 31r) of a user. The controller controls the display panel such that a first image and a second image that have a parallax therebetween are projected as a three-dimensional image (Is) within the field of view of the user, and a convergence angle (Δ, θ1, θ2) at which a point on the three-dimensional image (Is) is viewed by the user becomes less than or equal to a maximum convergence angle that is larger by 0.43 degrees than a convergence angle (Δ) at which a point on the virtual image plane (Sv) is viewed, and becomes greater than or equal to a minimum convergence angle that is smaller by 0.43 degrees than the convergence angle (Δ) at which the point on the virtual image plane (Sv) is viewed.
