The invention relates to a user equipment (101) for wireless communications with a multiple-input multiple-output, MIMO, base station (131) over a wireless communications channel, wherein the user equipment (101) comprises: a communications interface (103) configured to receive a current pilot signal over the wireless communications channel from the base station (131); and a processor (105) configured to determine a current channel state information, CSI, on the basis of the current pilot signal and to determine a CSI reliability measure value on the basis of the current CSI and one or several previous CSI, wherein the processor (105) is configured to determine the previous CSI on the basis of previous pilot signals, i.e. previously received pilot signals.
