PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device 1 for automatically cutting out a required number of sheets 2 from a plurality of sheets 2 stacked in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: A control unit 200 controls a cutting edge displacement unit 20 so as to press each cutting edge 11 of a cutting edge unit 10A and 10B against a cutting position Na. The control unit 200 presses the cutting blades 11 of the cutting blade units 10A and 10B against the cutting position Na, and the rotary table 60 is in a state where the pressing unit 80 stops applying a load to the plurality of sheets 2. The electric actuator 103 is controlled so as to rotate. In order to cut out the required number of sheets from the plurality of sheets 2, the control unit 200 lifts the required number of sheets by the cutting blades 11 of the cutting blade units 10A and 10B and cuts them so as to move them to a predetermined position.
