PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low temperature steam formaldehyde sterilizer using a water seal vacuum pump, capable of changing the introduction amount of formaldehyde gas according to the variation of pressure reached during decompression and temperature of seal water.;SOLUTION: Pressure reduction in a sterilization tank 2 by a vacuum pump 3 and pressure recovery in the sterilization tank 2 by the introduction of formaldehyde gas into the sterilization tank 2 are operated including the step of repeating set times. The introduction amount of formaldehyde gas after the pressure reduction is changed on the basis of pressure reached by the pressure reduction by the vacuum pump 3 or temperature of seal water into the vacuum pump 3. For example, pressure reduction to a pressure reduction target pressure by the vacuum pump 3 and pressure recovery to a pressure recovery target pressure by the introduction of formaldehyde gas are repeated, and the introduction amount of formaldehyde gas is changed by changing the pressure reduction target pressure and the pressure recovery target pressure.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
