FIELD: electrical engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering; it can be used to create adjustable electric drives with multiphase synchronous engines that do not have a rotor position sensor, when the engines are powered by frequency converters (FC) with voltage inverters regulated by pulse width modulation (PWM) method. In the case of frequency control of an electric drive with a synchronous engine that does not have a rotor position sensor, the main harmonics of the output phase voltages of a frequency converter regulated by pulse-width modulation should be changed directly proportional to the frequency of the phase currents f with the correction of voltage drops at the active resistances of the engine phases and taking into account the deviation of the displacement angle between the main harmonics of the phase currents and phase voltages (angle φ) from the set value, while monitoring stability by calculating the current value of the torque angle (angle Θ). The drive current of a synchronous engine with electromagnetic drive should be adjusted according to the deviation of the engine power coefficient, determined by the main harmonics of phase currents and voltages, from the set value.;EFFECT: reduced mass and dimensions of the computing device that is part of the control unit, due to a significant reduction in the number of computational operations at each step of adjusting the output voltage of the inverter and the drive current in the case of using an electromagnetically drive engine in an electric drive.;1 cl, 2 dwg
